The Hill of Rebels located near the market place in Vilnius Street leads to historical events of 1863. It is the burial place of 11 participants of the rebellion. In 1935, upon design of architect K. Reisonas one of the biggest monuments was built to commemorate the participants of the 1863 rebellion.
