Aušros Avenue Mansion‘s archaeological exposition "The Past of Šiauliai Area from the Ancient Times till the 17th c." vividly illustrates the history and material culture of Northern Lithuania and Šiauliai Area, starting with the Stone Age and up until the 17th c., displaying work tools, weapons, ornaments, trade objects, hoards of archaeological finds, and reconstructions. The ethnography exposition "Peasants' Mode of Life and their Subsistence at the End of the 19th - Beginning of the 20th c." reflects peasants' mode of life, their occupations, rituals, calendar feasts at Samogitia (emaitija) and Šiauliai Area in 18th - 20th centuries
