In the Šiauliai Aušros Museum's subdivision
Aušros Avenue Mansion you can visit archaeology and ethnography expositions: "The Past of Šiauliai Region from the Ancient Times till the 17th c." and "Peasants" Mode of Life and their Existence". The archaeological exposition presents the history and material culture of the Northern Lithuania and Šiauliai Region from the Oldest times, Stone Age, until the 17th c. There are displayed work tools, weapons, adornments, treasure of archeological findings and reconstructions. The ethnography exposition reflects peasants' mode of life, trades, rituals, and calendar holidays at Samogitia (emaitija) and Šiauliai region between the 18th and the first part of the 20th century.
